Executive Director & Literature Instructor
Heather Molendyk
B. S. in Education and Psychology - University of Miami (FL)
Heather Molendyk has had the privilege of being a classroom teacher and homeschool teacher, associate summer camp director, and curriculum writer. All four of her children have been homeschooled and two have successfully graduated high school. Heather has a passion for developing students into life-long learners and warriors for Christ. She takes joy in quality tea, board games, Lord of the Rings, and her pig collection.

Evelyn Fawcett

Evelyn has been teaching English literature and writing, along with occasional dips into Latin, history, and aesthetics, since 2004, in both classroom and homeschool cooperative settings. She has taught at Central Cabarrus High School, Covenant Classical School, Greyfriars Classical School, and Covenant Day School, along with several homeschool cooperatives. She focuses on integrating classical and Charlotte Mason methodologies in her teaching instruction, as well as adapting instruction in unique ways to meet her students in their zone of proximal development. Evelyn emphasizes creative and hands-on projects along with challenging written assessments. She uses Socratic methodology for discussion.
Evelyn has 5 children: 1 14-year-old son in Heaven, and an 18-year-old daughter, 12-year-old daughter, 10-year-old son, and 6-year-old daughter here on Earth. She is a member at East Charlotte Presbyterian Church. She is passionate about caring for medically fragile children. She loves hiking, camping, gardening, and reading. Her husband Luke has a Masters of Geography and works for Union County Water as a technology manager.

Mathematics and Personal Fitness Instructor
Martin Molendyk
B. A. in Secondary Mathematics Education - Dordt University
M. S. Ed. in Research, Measurement, and Evaluation - University of Miami (FL)

Martin has taught in the traditional classroom for 20+ years and taught every level of mathematics typically available in any high school curriculum. He recently taught at Covenant Day School in Matthews, NC, including AP and Dual Enrollment courses. Prior to CDS, Martin taught AP and IB courses at a prestigious private school in Miami, Florida. He gives private tutoring lessons for all levels of mathematics and has been helping homeschool students for the past 6 years. He has also coached basketball and field events in the past and has a life long passion for strength and fitness.

French Instructor and Beginnings Coordinator
Savannah Foucachon
B.A. in English - University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill

Savannah spent five years living in Paris with her husband and his French family gaining fluency in the language while teaching English to preschool and elementary-aged children. Back home in America, she currently teaches French in the homeschool community as well as to her three children. Savannah loves languages, learning, and teaching.

History Instructor
Rebekkah Hopkins
B.A. in Piano Pedogogy - Campbell University

Rebekah has spent the past 10 years homeschooling her children. She has been actively involved in homeschool co-ops where she taught elementary classes across a variety of subjects. She continues to serve as the director for two children's choirs where she has served for the past 10 years. In all of her teaching opportunities, Rebekah combines her love of strong music education with hands-on experiences for her students. She enjoys sharing her love for history as the telling of His Story, that is, the story of how God interacted with His creation in the past and how that gives us hope today and in the future.

Personal Fitness Instructor
Carl Marelli
Carl is the proud husband to Carolina and father to two boys, Justice and Noah. Justice, now a 7th grader, is thriving at Bellator while Noah will be attending 4th grade at Antioch Elementary. Carl has spent over 20 years leading product teams for education and educational technology (EdTech) companies. He is actively serving in his home church both in men's ministry and teaching adult faith formation.
Carl grew up immersed in soccer and other team sports, both as a player and a coach. He's an avid health and fitness enthusiast, spent several years competing in triathlons, and now most enjoys swimming, weight lifting, hiking, Tai Chi, breathing and mobility exercise.
Carl is very much looking forward to serving your children at Bellator by inspiring them to praise God for their wonderfully made human bodies, to challenge themselves in their own fitness, and to discover the joy of sports, exercise and healthy eating.

Art Instructor
Tina Wolfe
Tina is a passionate educator with over 15 years of homeschooling experience and a background in medical transcription. For the past four years, she has also enjoyed teaching and assisting with art classes, where she loves watching students discover their creativity and have fun in the process. Tina brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a love for learning to every class. Outside the classroom, she cherishes time with her family—camping, enjoying bonfires, playing games, and having movie nights—and finds relaxation in crocheting and doing puzzles.
